NEW LUGGAGE SYSTEM FOR SUZUKI GSX650F

Exploit the touring possibilities on this all-round sporting motorcycle

Ventura has introduced a luggage system for the Suzuki GSX650F that will enable riders to exploit the touring possibilities on this all-round sporting motorcycle for an affordable price. Combining a sporty full fairing, all-day comfort, smooth power and fuel efficiency, the GSX650F will tempt many owners to go travelling and Ventura luggage, based around its quick-to-fit/remove pack and rack, means you can load up and go at a moment’s notice.

The bike-pack is carried above the pillion seat and provides masses of extra carrying capacity (up to 102 litres). Their central position won’t upset the balance of the machine, and since the pack is supported by a metal frame they are rock steady at speed too (independently tested at over 180mph). The Ventura system is based around two discreet L-brackets that are custom-made for the GSX and fit beneath the tail fairing. The Pack Rack slots into the L-brackets and a selection of specially designed bike packs are produced to slide onto the rack. When riding solo, the pack sits over the pillion seat so that it does not affect the handling or stability of the bike. When riding two-up it is turned around, over the rack, leaving the pillion with plenty of space. Ventura packs are produced in 35 to 56 litre sizes, which is comparable to most soft panniers and hard cases and it is possible to zip together two Spada packs to give a massive 102-litre carrying capacity. If no luggage is required, the Pack and Rack can be removed in seconds and replaced with a Grab Handle (£19.99) or Sport Rack (£38.99).

The GSX650F system pictured features L-brackets (£89.99), Pack-Rack (£43.98) and 45-litre capacity Spada Pack, (black, red or blue at £99.99). Total cost = £233.96 and currently anyone ordering a complete set of Ventura* will receive a FREE Nady PMC2 rider-pillion intercom worth £49.99.
