NEW RACE SPEC MOTORCYCLE HELMET FROM CALIFORNIA
17 April 2008 - KBC Racing

Uses the latest memory foam for maximum comfort

California based KBC, one of the fastest growing helmet manufacturers in the world, has announced a stunning new race spec helmet for 2008, the VR-2R.

The VR-2R is designed to maximise aerodynamic airflow and stability at high speeds while shell ergonomics have been fine tuned to provide increased peripheral vision, improved head manoeuvrability, reduced neck strain and less wind noise.

Using KBC’s patented Tri Comp construction, the vacuum laminated lightweight shell of the VR-2R incorporates KBC’s Dual-Intake Ventilation System that efficiently draws, circulates and controls airflow no matter what the conditions

The double curvature, optically correct, scratch resistant visor has an anti-fog coating as standard but is also pre-drilled for a Pinlock fog-free insert. Equipped with a new QRV+ ratchet system, the VR-2R has probably the quickest visor release mechanism to be found anywhere in the world.

To round off this top specification helmet, its Ultralux interior liner uses the latest memory foam for maximum comfort with a special Savoire Suede facing to improve moisture wicking while keeping the surface cool.

Naturally for such a high quality helmet, the VR-2R is not only ECE22.05 certified but also meets with the ACU Gold racing standard.

Weighing in at only 1400 grams and available in six new graphics and sizes from XXS – XXL, the VR-2R race helmet at a highly competitive price of £179.99 is set to be a real winner!

Stop press! As a special launch offer, the VR-2R in the Wizard graphic design comes with a free KBC helmet bag and road-legal half-tint visor!
