SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 9.11.04
09 November 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

EASTBOURNE are keen for Sheffield''s Andrew Moore to once again double-up with them in the Elite League next season.

Moore, who is the subject of transfer speculation in the Premier League, was a success in his outings for the Eagles during 2004. Eastbourne boss Jon Cook said: ''Andrew won our young rider of the year award and he has become very popular down here.''

POPULAR Australian Brett Woodifield has announced that he is quitting British speedway to work for his family firm in his homeland. Woodifield has turned down a new contract with Workington and will fly home to Adelaide next week. He said: ''I still enjoy my racing but am not committed enough to give 100 per cent any more. I can probably get that enjoyment riding back home.''
