BACK TO THE FUTURE WITH THE VESPA EUROPE HELMET
30 December 2007 - Vespa

Vespa has created a range of Seventies-styled helmets to match their new S 125 retro scooter.

The Europe helmet is produced in three eye-catching designs that are evocative of the decade; the Union Jack plus two classic roundel styles, one the RAF-style, (perhaps scooter-wise forever associated with The Who), and the other in the Italian Tricolour design.

While the style is definitely retro, the helmet is very new millennium in its construction. Manufactured from lightweight ABS material and weighing less than one kilo, the Europe helmet is comfortable to wear and easy to carry. Designed to fit into the storage compartments beneath the seat of a Vespa scooter, its compact size means that it can also be accommodated by many other makes too.

The high gloss shell has a satin chrome effect trim and eco leather side flaps for that authentic Seventies appearance. Fastened by an easy-to-operate, quick-release buckle, the Europe helmet’s interior has a luxurious anti-allergenic/ anti-perspiration lining by Dupont. To complete the picture, goggles in a selection of cool colours are also available and these fit snugly into the helmet with two in-built clips.

The Vespa Europe helmet in its three designs is produced in five sizes, from X-Small to X-Large, and sells in the shops for £59.99. The optional clip-on goggles are available in clear, yellow, blue and smoke at £19.99.
