SKIDMARX SORT VERSYS BACK TO FRONT
03 November 2007 - Skidmarx

Skidmarx hugger & tall screen for Kawasaki Versys

Skidmarx, the British bodywork specialists, have introduced a rear hugger, tall screen and headlight cover for Kawasaki’s versatile Versys that will help to protect both rider and machine from the elements as the weather turns cold and wet. All Skidmarx accessories are manufactured in the UK and are designed to fit directly to Kawasaki’s all-rounder without the need for modification.

Head & Shoulders
The Tall Screen is 4” (10cm) taller than the original item and re-directs the airflow higher over the bike and rider - ideal for commuting or touring in particular. It is manufactured from durable 3mm acrylic, fits directly onto the original mounting points and is produced in clear and light or dark tints (and a variety of colours for the more adventurous owner). The retail price is £39.95 (add £6 for coloured options). A matching headlight cover is available to protect the expensive light unit from stone chips. It is supplied with Velcro fixings and comes in clear*, tinted or colours, all at £19.50.

Back Up
The side-mounted shock absorber on the Versys is very exposed and a hugger will help to keep road grime away from both the shock and sculpted swing arm. Skidmarx huggers are made in the UK to their own design from hand laid GRP and mount from the swing arm with a bespoke fitting kit. Skidmarx produce their huggers in black as standard, although other colour options are available on request. The Versys hugger retails for £69.95 inc. VAT in black GRP, with the carbon fibre versions at £119.95.
