Kawasaki accessories

Skidmarx has developed a range of bodywork accessories to enhance the look and riding experience for owners of Kawasaki’s re-styled Z1000 muscle bike. The screen, headlight cover, belly pan and rear hugger are all manufactured in the UK and are designed to fit directly to the 120 horsepower superbike without the need for modification.

Up Front
The double bubble screen replaces the original item and provides enhanced protection from windblast. It is modelled on the race screens that Skidmarx supplies to many teams in British Superbikes. It is manufactured from durable 3mm acrylic and customers can choose from clear, tint or a variety of colours. The retail price is £49.95 (add £6 for coloured options). A matching headlight cover is available to protect the expensive light unit from stone chips. It is supplied with Velcro fixings and comes in clear, tinted or colours, all at £19.50.

Underneath
Skidmarx belly pans are single units that shroud the underside of the litre capacity engine, protecting it from road spray and grime. They are produced from hand laid GRP (fibreglass) in pre-coloured black at £69.95, including a tailored fitting kit, ready to bolt onto existing mounting points. Other colour options are available to order.

Round the Back
The hugger is also UK-made from GRP and mounts from the swing arm with a bespoke fitting kit to protect the rear shock from dirt. Skidmarx produce their huggers in black as standard, although other colour options are available on request. The Z1 hugger retails for £69.95 inc. VAT in black GRP, with the carbon fibre versions at £129.95.
