NEW BIKER GLOVES
22 September 2007 - Weiss

Classic outside, modern inside

The Cambridge gloves from Weise may appear very traditional, thanks to the waxed fabric outer material and gauntlet styling, but inside they incorporate some of the latest materials designed to keep the wearer warm and dry when it’s cold and damp outside.

Materially Different
Weise chose waxed nylon for the main body of the Cambridge glove, as it is durable but gives the traditional appearance of waxed cotton. The palm is leather with anti-slip suede patches sewn onto it for extra control in cold, wet & slippery conditions.

Warm and dry
The Cambridge gloves have a highly breathable Sympatex® liner with specially sealed seams for reliable waterproofing. Thinsulate™ Liteloft has been chosen for the thermal lining, as it is the most thermally weight-efficient synthetic insulation and so will not make the Cambridge gloves excessively bulky.

Double Cuffs
Inside the gauntlet is an inner cuff, which is designed to prevent rainwater running down the sleeve and into the glove. Simple, but effective.

Weise Cambridge gloves are held firmly in place by a wrist strap that is fastened by Velcro for adjustability. They are available in sizes X-Small to XXX-Large in black, retailing for £39.99 inc. VAT.
