A STAR-STUDDED CENTENARY CELEBRATION
09 September 2007 - Duke Marketing Ltd

Centennial Classic Magic out now on DVD

Get ready for a feast of classic motorcycles and legendary racers as the Isle of
Man TT celebrates its Centenary!

TT Centennial Classic Magic, the latest DVD release from Duke, is packed
with the sights, sounds and people who helped create the TT legend, brought
together in a unique tribute.

Some 60,000 people travelled to the Isle of Man to help mark 100 years of this
extraordinary road race, and for many it was the special events celebrating the
TT’s history that proved the highlight.

In Centennial Classic Magic viewers can hear from legends of the TT,
including John Surtees, Carl Fogarty, Geoff Duke, Mick Grant, Giacomo
Agostini, Jim Redman and many, many more – and see the greats back in
action on board some of the most memorable motorcycles every built.

This is a rare opportunity to delight in glorious close-ups of vintage machinery
and let the roaring engines of classics like Norton, MV Agusta, Velocette,
Hondas, Suzuki, Yamaha, Gilera and more evoke memories of a Centenary of
TT racing.

The 88-minute film features footage from the re-enactment of the very first
TT, held exactly 100 years to the day after that momentous occasion in 1907.
With thousands of fans lining the original TT course, an amazing array of
vintage machinery set out to commemorate the first running – led away by the
Norton which won the first ever TT and the 1907 runner-up Vindec Special.

The 100-strong field also featured Triumph, Rudge, Scott, BSA, Ariel and
more.

The list of classic motorcycles taking part is almost unbelievable, as is the
line-up of star riders involved – the legendary Geoff Duke starts the reenactment
and John McGuinness, the fastest man ever around the modern
course, waves the chequered flag!

Seven-times TT winner Grant describes it as: ‘One of the best buzzes I’ve ever
had.”

The action moves to the modern Mountain Circuit for the Lap of Honour and
Parade of Champions, bringing together mouth-watering collections of
machinery and a fantastic line-up of riders. Agostini, Surtees, Read, McCallen,
Fogarty, Reynolds, Taveri, Carruthers, Graham – it is a who’s who of TT
greats. And the machinery is just as awesome, a unique gathering of
motorcycles that carried legends of the sport.

Revel in the full-blooded roar of these unforgettable machines, as the TT
masters recreate the glory days in the summer sunshine. Plus there’s some
famous fans who just couldn’t keep away, including World Superbike stars
Neil Hodgson and Noriyuki Haga.

Plus there is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the riders
and machines of yesteryear at the amazing gathering of TT legends on
Douglas promenade.

Popular TT commentator Geoff Cannell takes the greats on a fascinating trip
down memory lane before they let the evocative engines do the talking and
parade the machines to the delight of the thousands of dedicated fans.
This is a true treat for any TT fan or vintage motorcycle enthusiast.
Centennial Classic Magic is available now, priced at £14.99 on DVD,
