DUKE GETS SKIDMARX
20 August 2007 - Skidmarx

New Skidmarx accessories for KTM Superduke

Skidmarx have created a range of practical bodywork accessories for the 118bhp KTM Superduke that will not only enhance the bike’s looks but also increase riding pleasure and help to keep it looking good into the bargain.

Screen + Headlight Cover
The neat screen directly replaces the original item but is taller with a ‘flip lip’ that is designed to divert windblast, giving extra protection to the rider. It is manufactured from durable 3mm acrylic and customers can choose from clear, tint or a variety of colours. SRP is £39.95 (add £6 for coloured options). A matching headlight cover is available to protect the expensive light unit from stone chips. It is supplied with Velcro fixings and comes in clear, tinted or colours, SRP £19.50.

Belly Pan
Derived from Skidmarx’ racing belly pans, this simple-to-fit unit is produced from hand laid GRP fibreglass to follow the aggressive lines of the fuel tank above it. The belly pan keeps road spray off the big V-twin power plant to keep it looking good and retails for £99.95 including a tailored fitting kit, ready to bolt onto exiting mounting points.

Hugger
The hugger is also UK-made from GRP and mounts from the swing arm with a bespoke fitting kit to protect the rear shock from grime. Skidmarx produce their huggers in black as standard, although other colour options are available on request. The KTM hugger retails for £79.95 inc. VAT in black GRP, with the carbon fibre versions at £129.95.
