CURVY RIDERS BRAVE KNOCKHILL MONSOON FOR SPINAL RESEARCH
18 July 2007 - Curvy Riders MCC
The first Curvy Riders MCC charity track school took place at Knockhill racing circuit on the 06th July 2007.
The brave Curvy Riders took to the track, in less than ideal conditions, raising money and awareness for Spinal Research. “All the organising and logistics that went into such an event has been more than worth while”, said Ed co-founder of Curvy Riders MCC. “Not only have the ladies & gents been able to take to the track and get a taste for track riding, we have also managed to raise much needed money and awareness for Spinal Research”. “It would be great to be able to hold such an event next year and to encourage even more bikers to take part and especially lady bikers. It was refreshing to see some of the lady bikers on every style of bike being put to the test at the track school and giving the guys a run for their money!”, said Ed. Plans are already in place for further Curvy Riders MCC Charity Track Schools and Charity Track Days throughout the UK next year. Dates and venues will be issued within the coming months.
