ONE SHIRT - MULTI COMBINATION - MULTI PURPOSE The new Multi Sport shirt from Knox provides crash protection that is independently tested & approved in an incredibly versatile package to suit the widest variety of motorcycle sport, on dirt, road or track. This great looking shirt can be used in a number of ways. Back, chest, shoulder and arm protectors can be used together or independently, so this shirt can be worn as one garment or in eight other ways, making a total of nine possible combinations. So riders can use it as a stand-alone back-protector on the road, back & chest protector on the track and full safety shirt on the dirt! Whichever combination is chosen, all of the armour is CE-tested and approved! The shirt itself is made from tear-resistant sport mesh, which allows the body to breathe freely, with generous cut-away areas under the arms for extra ventilation and to prevent chafing. Knox has been making motorcycle crash protection in the UK since the mid-’80s but its CE-approved armour is distinctly different from traditional hard plastic harnesses, which are in fact simple stone deflectors and give little or no actual crash protection. By law, all body armour for motorcyclists (on or off road) must be CE-marked to show it has been independently tested & certified to exceed the toughest EU standards. Both the chest and back protector on the Multi Sport shirt are manufactured from light and flexible hexagonal honeycomb, which acts like a crumple-zone and can absorb massive amounts of energy from an impact. They protect not only the spine but also ribs, thorax and internal organs, like the kidneys, and are CE-approved to EN1621-2 Level 1. Meanwhile the shoulder and elbow protectors have integral honeycomb moulded into the hard outer shell and are CE-approved to EN1621-1.
