UNIQUE TRACK TO GREET AMA SUPERMOTO CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDERS
05 November 2004 - AMA Pro Racing
The AMA Supermoto Championship finale, the AMA Red Bull Supermoto A-Go-Go, will take place next weekend at Bally’s Las Vegas and fans and participants will be treated to the most uniquely designed AMA Supermoto track yet.
Nearly one mile in length, the track will be constructed behind Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas just off the famed Las Vegas Strip. The track itself features the normal combination of road race-, motocross- and flat track-oriented elements and features the first over/under table-top jump to be used in AMA Supermoto competition. Additionally, the familiar Parts Unlimited UrbanCross metal ramps will be included. To facilitate up-close viewing, several track crossings will be in place allowing easy access to virtually the entire track. The AMA Red Bull Supermoto A-Go-Go at Bally’s will feature practice and qualifying on Friday, Nov. 12 and heat races and finals on Saturday, Nov. 13. The race is free to the public with paddock passes available for purchase. The event will be broadcast nationally on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
