WEISE WAX LYRICAL The new Cambridge jacket from WEISE® recalls the days when wax cotton was the material of choice for motorcyclists who were serious about performance and weather protection. Appearances can, however, be deceptive, because although the Cambridge jacket looks like it could have been made 50 years ago, it is actually manufactured from modern 500-denier synthetic fabric with a novel wax treatment to give it an authentic ‘retro’ look. WEISE have discreetly included many of the elements to be found on the latest generation of motorcycle clothing while retaining the key styling cues associated with bike textiles of the past. Weatherproofing is assured thanks to a waterproof and breathable drop liner system, while KNOX® CE-approved impact protectors are fitted at the shoulders, elbows and the back, too. Inside you will find a removable thermal liner in classic Royal Stewart tartan and the collar is trimmed with corduroy. On the outside are four generous pockets (which are waterproof, unlike the original garments), a belt with metal buckle and metal adjustment straps at the side. An optional nylon belt buckle cover is provided for riders wishing to protect their paintwork from accidental scratches. The WEISE Cambridge jacket is produced in black in sizes Small to XXX-Large and retails for £139.99 inc. VAT. Matching trousers are also available, made from the same 500-denier fabric with wax treatment and a waterproof, breathable drop lining. They are equipped with a zip-out thermal liner and pockets for optional Knox CE armour at the knees and hips. Adjusters with metal buckles are attached at the calf and ankle to complete the classic appearance and keep draughts out, too. The WEISE Cambridge trousers come in black in sizes Small to XXX-Large and sell for £89.99 inc. VAT.
